Transfers may be to a another school, or to a different course conducted by NYU Language School.
Transfer to Another School – If you wish to transfer to another school, you must notify the administration manager of NYU Language School in writing.
You will then complete a student's pass application to enable you to continue your studies in Singapore with a new school. Your application includes Information on School (Form V36A), which must be completed and signed by the principal of your new school. You will then submit your completed student's pass application to the administration manager of NYU Language School, who will complete Section B of the V36A form.
You will be deemed to have withdrawn from the school without cause and you will not be eligible for any refund of course fees. You must pay all outstanding fees before your transfer.
If you wish to transfer from one course to another within NYU Language School, you must apply to do so in writing to the director of studies, whose decision will be final. Your application will be considered only if you meet all pre-requisites of the course you intend to transfer to.
In the event that your application is approved, you will be deemed to have withdrawn without cause from your previous course and you will not be eligible for any refund of course fees for your previous course. You will also have to submit a new application for a student pass, on the understanding that this new application may be rejected by the ICA.
